AUGUST 8, 2002 - NEW MOON- 16 LEO 00 - 2:15 PM CDT 

Plenty of positive energy to begin new projects as the New Moon
conjuncts Mars, especially if your tasks need dynamic leadership or if
you're working alone.  For cooperative ventures, watch your ego. 

AUGUST 22, 2002 - FULL MOON - 29 AQUARIUS 39 - 5:29 PM CDT

Did you notice there were two Aquarius Full Moons in a row?  Unusual,
but not heralding the end of the world.  The Moon's (approx.) 28 day
Lunar cycle simply fell neatly within the Sun's (approx.) 30 day sojourn
in Leo.

The energy for this Full Moon is a little bit unusual, too, as the FM at
29 degrees Aquarius conjuncts Uranus at 26 degrees, and Mars (25 Leo)
conjuncts the Sun (29 Leo) in opposition.   Saturn at 26 Gemini can make
this opposition easier by bringing creative, off-beat, out-of-the-box
thinking and hyper-energy to the practical and constructive level.  Stay
as flexible as possible with those unexpected changes in schedule.
Others may react in anger when their plans are thwarted.

AUGUST 26, 2002 - PLUTO DIRECT - 14 SAGITTARIUS

This Pluto direction conjuncts the Moon's South Node.  Sometimes this
indicates long-buried issues from the past resurfacing.  If you do
past-life work, it's a good time for regression or meditative
reflection.  Pluto times are also good for re-evaluating your thought
processes and your mode of operation as you work toward your goals.
Eliminate what isn't working which will free up energy to move forward.
If you get stuck or frustrated, clean out a drawer or closet or even the
whole basement -- Pluto rules the underworld ;-)  -- give away the good
stuff you don't need and throw out the junk.
