6/20/01 - Wednesday - New Astrology Update newsletter.  6/14/01 - Thursday My husband Rich is an audiophile, looking for the perfect expression of recorded sound, but he's mostly a buyer and trader of used equipment and keeps his hobby in a reasonable zone financially.  For example, he just bought something for his system on e-bay for $42 that originally cost $2000 back in the 1980s.  But if you want to get an idea of the world he and his friends from the Chicago Audio Society live in, check out this article from the Washington Post. 6/12/01 - Tuesday I've updated my Chicago Classes page with my September classes start dates (plan ahead!) and two talks I'm doing in June -- a noon meditation at the Temple of Kriya Yoga and an overview of astrology at the Barrington Area Library. 6/11/01 - Monday I registered for The Writers Institute in Madison, WI.  It will be my fourth year at this friendly and informative writers conference.  Two of my fellow OCWW members will be on the faculty there:  Leslie Levine and Kelly James-Enger. previous/next
